As another new year begins, many of us spend the first few months thinking of ways to better ourselves and creating paths to get there. What’s most important is you can meet these goals without feeling forced or stressed. For instance, if you want to work on your relationships, strive to text friends or family members at least once a week. On more open weeks, pick several days to reach out to people. Additionally, plan to see these individuals once or several times a month.


If loved ones reach out, but you’re too stressed to talk, let them know. Keeping communication open strengthens the relationship. Plus, they may offer a helping hand. Getting help is impossible if we don’t vocalize our struggles first.

Generosity is one of the best traits because it allows us to see our blessing while assisting others.
